    Spain has extensive trade with Cuba, building hotels everywhere. Doesn’t Spain have flour? Why is the US always made as the bad guy? I call bs on this.

      The genocidal US embargo prevents ships trading with the US from doing so with Cuba.

      Naturally, there aren’t many ships that would survive competition if they trade with Cuba but not the world’s largest economy right beside it. I guess this means most ships supplying flour in the region go to the US, so they can’t supply Cuba.

      Why is the US always made as the bad guy

      Because it’s been the leader of the imperial core — the countries that colonized the rest of the world, and now have them economically subjugated — since WW2, supplanting the UK.

      This is like asking in the 19th century why people hate western Europe. Idk, maybe cuz their imperialist governments were the source of most of the world’s ire during this period?
