    Mhm, you might be right. But imo it’s nice to hear about any kind of progress even if it might end up not working because at the end of the day it’s one step closer to finding a cure and ofc that would be amazing.

    Also sorry to hear you have Crohn’s btw. I don’t have it but ik someone who does and I know it’s a real pain for eating :(.

      Agree, progress is nice. But, drugs for diseases we don’t know how to cure yet are based on presumptions what might cause the disease and they have all been wrong so far (regarding cancer and Crohn’s).

      Thank you. I had my fair share of trouble when I was younger, but now I’m OK. Hope your friend gets better, too!

        BIL has this as well so we also follow these articles and have been disappointed many times previously. Like you, I struggle between accepting that it’s a hard nut to crack VS big pharm being complacent in keeping a cash cow. We know big auto prefers to pay out for critical errors that kill an acceptable number of people vs fixing it if it’s more profitable so why not here too? I hate MBAs. They are the bane of the world.
