You are completely missing the point, which is that the hate in this sub is mainly focused on Islam. If it would be focused on another religious community I would call that out just as much.

Not fake news but a misunderstanding on my side. After scrolling a bit I admit that I was wrong. In this sub people are obviously spreading hate against several religions, not just one in particular. Please accept my apologies
EDIT: It seems like one specific user has been posting a number of anti-islam memes. To this I say “so what”. This sub is a place for atheists to congregate. If youre upset that your own brand of bullshit is being debunked, youre in the wrong place. All religon is wrong.
I have been an atheist with a scientific worldview my whole life, just like my parents and even grandparents. I have always been criticizing religion in factual manner. However - what is happening in this sub is in large parts clearly hate mongering and I am disgusted by it. This sub is mostly a circle jerk of people who hate religion who come here to confirm each others biases - not of atheists - because in case you are not aware, those two are not the same. Structurally there is not really a difference to a right wing extremist sub where racists come together to confirm each other in their racism.

The founder and prophet of islam is a child rapist. Of course people would hate on it more.
