Picked this up for $40 without wheels. It’s a 92 Comp with all XT even has the OG pedals. Notice the chain stay protector on the left side? That’s because the previous owner thought covering a dent, that chipped the paint, and exposed the steel would help protect it. Luckily not a lot of moisture got under. There is only a little surface rust around the exposed area. Popped the lowers off the Future Shock fork, and everything looks good. Just some REALLY nasty oil that needs replacing. I have an extra Araya/Exage wheelset and plan to keep the stock stuff on it. After a deep clean it shouldn’t take much else to get this back on the road.
