    The whole world is fucked.

A few bushfires, hailstorms and flooding is fine. We’re getting off lightly.

What app is that? The UI design looks really inconsistent. Also a lack of padding, rounded corners, and weirdly sized buttons.

Thanks for the link. It’s weird they don’t just use material you.

The map they use is actually quite accurate. We had to send the boss to do an emergency delivery to a customer and their address wasn’t coming up in Apple Maps, Google Maps or even OSM. It was in VicEmergency though…

The Apple weather app went from the permanent “Sheep Grazier Warning” to “Fire Weather”. Raining fire? Where have I moved to?

And some of the coal power plants were offline too, so anyone saying “good old reliable coal”, well, it is not lol

Really looking forward to seeing more microgrid stuff maybe with batteries to stabilise the grid too

I think we’re going to see a lot more done on the demand management side, too.

As we get more electric cars on the grid, that’s a ton of demand that you can just turn off for a while and nobody would notice or care.

        Absolutely…

Actually, my friends power AND Gas is offline still at the moment… Which goes to show that Electric really is the way forward regardless,
