Does this mean I can stop stuffing my face with olives now
Drinking wine is not healthy, anyway. Alcohol is a solvent, and drinking any amount of alcohol significantly increases your likelihood of cancer in all the places it goes through your body (mouth, throat, stomach, liver, gut, etc).
The reason it seemed like drinking a glass of wine is healthy was because of a statistical anomaly. Most people drink. Some people drink a lot, and those people are generally unhealthy as a result. Some people don’t drink at all, but most of that group avoid alcohol because either a) they’ve drunk too much in the past and are unhealthy as a result, or b) they were unhealthy to begin with for some other reason and drinking would only make that worse.
