I’ve never played the same game twice in my entire life, so I was wondering: What’s up with NG, NG+ and things like that? What sort of experience are people after when they replay a game? I just can’t seem to see any value in replaying the same game again.

Cannot speak for RE, but when I do it, it is to collect things I have missed.

If the game is also fun, I just enjoy playing it with what I already have. Probably goes into the power fantasy realm
