Hello there
Figured this may be relevant here, otherwise let me know and I will delete it:
Affinity is having a summer sale.
It is a very affordable program with no subscriptions, that can do all the things most people would ever need for making book and graphic projects. I have been using the “family” since 2019 for all my projects (though, I am not a fan of Affinity Photo, but I have used it).
They all also have a 30-days trial.
FYI: you can generally omit everything from the ? onward in a link.
I love Affinity Designer, I have it on desktop and iPad! You can also switch between raster and vector layers so you can kinda have the best of both. I still love Procreate too but they’re both solid tools
I don’t have a tablet*, but I have heard that Procreate is one of the better ones. But for my artistic projects, I have startet using Clip Studio Paint.
But the “vector and raster” is a really nice feature. I have also used their resource link function a lot in publisher. Saves RAM, time and makes it easy to update files.
*The ones that is a computer. But I do have a drawing tablet :)
