Iirc authybhad a data breach some years ago, since then I’ve been using an alternate.
Macs with Apple Silicon are able to run iOS apps natively.
I imagine a PC workaround could be to set up the app via an Android emulator like BlueStacks.
Are you on Linux? If so then Gnome Authenticator is a possible alternative, also allows importing & exporting your tokens in formats widely used by other apps
I use Linux, Windows, MacOS; I’m everywhere. I’ve had Aegis as a backup of my tokens in case bullshit like this happened, but it’s still an amazingly stupid idea.

Keeping your 2fa on a computer seems risky
It’s riskier than having it on your phone (so separate device), but dunno if it’s particularly risky. Some even have their 2FA and passwords in the same app, but that is a bit too much for me.
