I haven’t touched Infinite since I beat the campaign, but honestly the game has so many minor issues that I don’t even know that fixing them all will make me want to play it again.

Terrible UI design, overpriced shop items, armor color customization sucks, cross core armor is still not fully implemented on all armors I think, netcode problems, the open world design of the campaign ruining the Halo feel, the lack of campaign variety due to its open world nature, etc. I played before they added splitscreen co-op, but that should have been there from the start given their promises of not including it at launch in future games. That promise didn’t even last one game.

Not every game needs an open world design. It was cool in concept but it was not executed well IMO. It felt like every other open world game: copy-pasted encounters sprinkled throughout a mostly empty map.

The game has a really good art style though. I hope they keep that in the next one. Though I hope they stop making armors that look like they dont belong in Halo, that’s kinda annoying. Cat ears and such.
