    Are you sure? I read elsewhere on Lemmy that he’s ineligible for voting for, not just literally appearing on the ballot.

    Besides, I don’t know if Maine and Colorado are amongst them, but some states don’t allow write-ins.

      Trump can be written in but those votes will be tossed since he’s ineligible.

      Candidates must meet the basic qualifications for office.

      Any person who wishes to be a write-in candidate for any office greater than a county office must file an Affidavit of Intent with the Colorado Secretary of State.
