A game called A-Train occupied a fair amount of my childhood and early adolescence.
A slightly more recent game that is actually on Steam that I also devoted many a late night to was Master of Orion 2. MOO 1 was good, MOO 3 was okay but 2 just hit sweet spot for a game that I could pick up when I needed a break from Wolfenstein.

I used to play A train. Took up all 15 blocks of the memory card on PS1!
I had it for PC and man I loved that game. Building a planned city with trains synchronized…perfection.
