This is mostly due to Windows 11’s exorbitant requirements. This will most likely result in many pcs being immediately outdated, and prone to viruses.     I think the technical ability is somewhat overblown, but it is easy to be intimidated in switching.

    I just switched to Mint the other day and was consuming YouTube Linux tutorials like crazy, afraid that I would do something that would break it, but I’ve honestly found using it pretty straight forward. I’ve gone out of my way to learn and use the shell, but I think that the majority of people could get their use case without it.
