Ang kwento ko ay pumunta ako sa kwarto ni friend, mag overnight sana ako. Sis ang dumi I felt the depression at yung decline of mental health na joke joke niya lang. It was concerning.
Paano siya nagffunction at nakakapag-aral sa ganyang setting? Tapos sa totoo lang natatae na talaga ako kaso umurong yung tae ko nung nakita ko yung state of the room. Ako na naglinis nung space niya. Naglinis ako ng cr.
Basta medyo na-shook ako tapos naglinis na lang ako, hindi ako natulog. I was also very much resisting the urge to ask when was the last time nagpalit siya ng bedsheet.
Hindi daw ba ako nandidiri? It felt too personal na daw nung umabot ako ng linis sa cr. Hindi ko alam girl, all I know is we all get dirty (that’s why we clean) and I am not touching or using anything in a room na ganyan kadumi. I’m not judging you at all, I think you should take a break from school, actually. Consider this as an act of service when it comes to love languages.
Self-care isn’t just having a skin routine or retail therapy or make up and dolling up. It’s also eating and sleeping properly, exercise, cleaning your environment, getting treatment from whatever you’re worrying from and the things that sometimes feel like a chore but is good for you anyway long term wise.
I had a lot of thoughts after that.

Some people do be like that, laughing because the alternative is crying oneself to death via dehydration. Also, sometimes, one’s just too tired of everything to even love oneself (enough to take care of oneself).
I’m glad that people like you are around her to give her the necessary nudge where needed.

Why can’t our government enact a law that limits car ownership to those with a dedicated parking space? There are multiple cars here that take up sidewalk space and if sinita mo sila, ikaw pa yung mali kasi andami naman daw puwedeng pagtuunan ng pansin, yung kotse pa nila.
Because such a rule is clearly anti-poor. It’s the same reason why number coding is a bunch of BS. Those who can afford extra cars would just buy more cars. The guy who barely could pay his Wigo are the only ones truly affected.
Speaking from experience, the apartment we used to stay at didn’t provide any parking spaces, so tenants had nowhere to park their cars but in the streets. Potential landlords should be required to provide a lot (or build one on their own land via basement) before being allowed to rent out spaces. But nope, elevator nga lang na dapat you should have when building a structure with 3 or more floors nakakalusot sa building inspection.
Maybe… Because the government can’t provide an efficient and adequate public transportation system.
Because the govt don’t want to ruin the illusion of the middle class achieving individual progress by having a car. You don’t want the middle class angry.
Because the govt don’t want to fight car and petroleum industries who will benefit from the higher sales of cars.
agree. kasi sila mismo owner/investor/family-related/friens nung mga business man. Alam nila malulugi ang car business or oil companies pag gumanda ang transportation

Sony/Columbia is dumping some of their pictures on Netflix. I didn’t know both parties’ deal is including old releases, not just ~2020 releases.
Sony and Universal Pictures have a strong film market right now, whilst Disney and Warner Discovery bleeding. And of course, this is just speculation. lol
P.S. Who in the heck watches Lawrence of Arabia with a Netflix Basic plan?

Computer Science. Yeah, required is either SCOPUS or ISI indexed journals. Finding the time with work and studying is getting really hectic.
Oof, sorry Pre, di ko kabisado paano ginagawa ang Studies sa CS. Sa psych kasi pwede gumawa ng 2 articles with one data gathering kasi. Advice ko is magaim ka nalang sa low impact factor na journal.

But at the same time, marketing it as “decentralized” or the concept of “federation” isn’t going to win over the average internet user. They just want something that’s easy to use with a decent UI/UX.

Yup, may mga sites talaga na sablay sa thumbnails (ABS-CBN News is another). Kahit sa Raddle blank din sila, not just with Lemmy. Weird thing is, Philstar Life works okay naman.
Kaya iniiwasan ko mag-source ng news sa mga sites mentioned. I stick to GMA, Rappler, Manila Standard, Manila Times, and One News when posting threads.

instant noodles and tuyo, yum yum
- egg! whether hard boiled, fried, even raw kung masabaw, pero personal fave to add is yung scrambled na medyo crispy. tho parang mas omelette ata yun kesa scrambled haha
Eggs, tuyo, instant noodles. If not that lazy, beans.
When outside in Baguio, meron pa yung karinderya sa Porta with 55 peso budget meal na 2 rice, 2 meat, and sabaw.

Rice mixed in a bit of soy sauce especially pag may halong calamansi. Unhealthy pero it lowkey slaps for me
Peanut butter sandwich. I can live (and have lived) off of it for a few days. That and liver spread sandwich.
During the height of the pandemic, I learned about peanut butter on instant noodles and I found it amazing. Also instant noodles on bread.
I do earn enough for proper meals, but at times I get too lazy to prepare (i.e. buy) food and the unbalanced/unhealthy “meal options” above are just very convenient.
Instant Yakisoba. I just ate one yesterday, as a matter of fact.
Unripe (but not too unripe) saba bananas dipped in fish bagoong.
Also, lugaw/arroz caldo/goto with nothing in it but rice. I’ve even made an imitation version of it via (instant) oatmeal, instant noodle seasoning, guinisa mix, and some grated (chicken) bouillon cubes.
Inuulam yung mang juan/martys sa kanin
Tortang talong? Poverty meal pa ba yun? Kasi minsan mahal ng talong o itlog.
