I had a ps2 up until about 2013, and kind of gave up gaming for a while. Then I bought a ps4 in 2020, because there were a ton of games I missed out on, and some newer ones looked fantastic, so I finally caved. Anyway, I have just hit 13 platinum trophies, while most of my friends who are pretty hardcore gamers, (and have had their gamertags much longer than I have) only have a handful. I think at most, 6 or 7.

So I’m just curious to know what the average time with a gamertag, and the number of platinum trophies is for most users, and the games they’ve hit platinum.

Mine are:

Crash bandicoot N.sane trilogy (all 3 games)

Goat Simulator

Golf with your friends

Stray

Lego star wars (Skywalker saga)

The sinking city

Ghost of Tsushima

The last of us part 2,

GTA:San Andreas

Marvels Spider-Man

    7yrs on my account now because I lost my account from ps3 I lied about my age as a kid so I couldn’t get the account back but I have 11 platinum’s

    A long while though I don’t know how long, I had a different handle at first but changed it when I got Xbox Live. I don’t have any platinum trophies as I moved away from Playstation and just generally don’t try 100%ing games.

    Since 2017, only 6 platinums (Days Gone, Control, Spider-Man 2, Destiny 2 and Batman: Telltale Series)

    Destiny 2 count the ps4 and ps5 versions and I don’t consider the Batman one because you get it by simply playing the game.

    Had my gamertag for about 17 years. I’m on Xbox so platinums aren’t a thing but I’ve purposefully gone for all achievements in both Destiny 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
