I’ll go first: playing with other people in multiplayer who are geographically close to you would be very fun.

    If cosmetic options didn’t enhance the player experience, they wouldn’t be sold as microtransactions.

      That’s because people assign significance to how others perceive them in game. It’s like Yeezys costing so much just so you can show off your expensive shoes. But at least there we have some concept of limited supply and scarcity, even if it’s artificial.

      This is one where I side with the people selling the cosmetics. Players only want the 20 dollar skin to show other players they bought the 20 dollar skin. If people want to buy that, I can’t fault someone for selling it.
