Watch Arsenal Vision’s Osimhen scouting video before our match last night…
I went in expecting to be amazed by him and he didn’t really impress me that much. They compared Jesus’ stats with him and Jesus really stands out in terms of all around play. Osimhen was just top bracket shots and aerially but Jesus wasn’t a million miles of him in those areas. Jesus was miles ahead in all other aspects.
Watching him was very similar to watching Darwin Nunez’s scouting video at Benfica. Lots of shots but some bad touches and head down when he could pass to a player in a better position…
Surprised as I thought he would be a great opportunity… Dunno what he’d be like for us if we bought him. Could be very similar to Nunez at Liverpool
I’m assuming he doesn’t but I don’t know, aren’t a lot of Osimhen’s goals off of counters? Counters he won’t be seeing often in the prem.
I’m scared shitless of buying Osimhen because I feel like he’s very much high risk / high reward, we can’t afford a 100+ million bust of a player
Don’t worry, Chelsea will spend 130 on him.
If I’m being honest, I’ll take Lois Openda instead of Osimhen. The former is shorter, slower, physically average, but could really do a run couple with a clinical finish among current crops of strikers.
