I tried
tztime local {
format = “%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S”
hide_if_equals_localtime = true
}
And
tztime la { format = “%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S %Z” timezone = “America/Los-Angeles”
But time doesnt appear on the i3bar. Can anyone help me?

If you run i3status manually in terminal does it show correctly in the terminal? Does it update?
No
Does it keep running or does it output and then exist straight away? Post us what you see in the terminal.
Can you run i3status and post that?
