For me it’s two worlds. I love the terrible acting, the broken combat and the fact you can break the game sequence by killing the final boss in the first two minutes of the game.
It plays like a wild DnD game where the players want to give the DM ptsd.
In the same vein, the first Gothic. It was somewhat decently acted (especially in the original German) but JFC it plays like you have to try performing brain surgery with bricks for hands and chainsaws for scalpels.
My favorite part was where you can actually join the villain in the end. Just to enjoy a way harder fight than the villain you would have had to fight showing the people who had you fight the villain could have resolved this issue themselves.
