Years ago, I use to prefer playing with a gamepad than using a keyboard & mouse. Now, the opposite. I’m also very meticulous when it comes to adjusting & remapping the control setups for keyboard & mouse to my liking, way more so than ever before. I’ve also become selective when choosing games, mostly picking those that have Manual Saving options, because I don’t find games using Auto-Save only as fun, unless they’re very very short.

I just play the game how I enjoy now rather than what’s meant to do. I have around 15-20 plat trophies and that’s only because I enjoyed doing everything there was to do.

If I find a quest line or side activity too tedious I’ll just slug it off granted I do enjoy hard bosses in games like Elden ring but if it’s mad grindy I won’t play it.

I also no longer listen to peoples opinions on games anymore this has helped me a lot as many games people love a praise such as the Witcher I cannot for life of me find any enjoyment it. Where as a game such as forspoken which recently got a fair amount of hate I enjoyed very much so.

    • No more PvP games, ever.

    • Much less time spent in cooperative online games too, but I’m still up from some Warframe, Guild Wars 2, or Diablo 3.

    • I actually finish the large majority of my games now.

    • I no longer fret over not having all the dlc quests/expansions. The best content is usually the base story anyway.
