Microsoft wants a monopoly in the industry. That’s all they want in the world and they don’t even hide it. They tried to buy Nintendo once, and if they could they’d own Steam and Epic and Sony and everyone else. They are transparently the greediest and yet no one really cares, they will probably get their monopoly some day.
