Is this website legit?

People seem to be saying thailand is more expensive and scoff at people trying to live under 1000 usd budget because airbnb is expensive and whatnot.

But this website seems to have pretty decent apartments in bkk and chiang mai for 5000-8000 baht a month?

Is there a catch? Could someone chime in who has good or bad experience with the website? Why are most people defaulting to airbnb or hotels, if this website has such reasonable prices?

    Sounds legit. I never rented in Thailand but I knew a guy living in a serviced apartment in Ko Tao for $200 usd/month.

    Airbnb is pretty much always overpriced now.

    The catch is that you’ll be stung for a massive electricity bill when you check out. Mine was approximately 30 to 40% of the rent.

      Totally agree… Prices per ‘unit of electricity’ fluctuate widely, it’s sometimes cheaper in the long run to pay more for somewhere with electricity price included.

The reason many people default to Airbnb or hotels might be due to convenience and the short-term nature of their stays. Renthub is more suited for longer-term rentals and requires a bit more commitment, like signing a lease, which might not be ideal for everyone.
    In my experience, the process was smooth. I managed to find a nice place for around 7,000 baht per month, which was quite a steal compared to Airbnb prices. The key is to be thorough in your search and communicate clearly with the landlords. Also, for shorter stays or while searching for a rental, I found Rebookify helpful for hotel bookings.
