Do you play video games with your spouse? What do you play together? Do you have coop sessions? I want to hear your stories.
My husband (40M) is a PC gamer. I (40F) have recently started playing coop games with him. I’ve tried playing in the past, but I never get very far due to the intensity in most of them. Recently, we started playing co-op games together so he can help me out while we play, and I can actually enjoy the game. I was just curious what other couples play and if you have any recommendations for us.
PC games we’ve played in co-op: Splinter Cell, Breakpoint, Green Hell, Astroneer, Grounded, and we just started Icarus. *The only one we truly finished together is SplinterCell and most of Breakpoint.
My girlfriend is from Nigeria and has only played a little old school mario as a kid. She says she wants to try games with me but they’re too complicated. She likes button mashing in mortal kombat and she was really into the story of god of war 2018 but didn’t wanna try it because it’s daunting.
Awe! Well it’s definitely daunting at first, but that’s why I like coop. I can take things slower and allow more time to learn because I’m not alone. It also helps to ask questions if I get stuck. It’s a lot to keep up with for someone who’s not used to playing video games.
My ex wasn’t a big gamer either but she enjoyed it takes two, sackboy, a way out, and grand theft auto 5.
