I am playing Horizon Zero Dawn and haven’t gotten to the first main event, but it gives me this feeling like if I upgrade all my equipment now it might be for nothing. I know that is not the case, I looked it up, but what are some games that are the worst offenders? One I can think of is Aerith in the original FF7.
The worst offenders are Jeanne d’Arc and Baldur’s Gate 2 which just decide to take away your important characters with everything they had in their inventory and leaving you without an important class.
Oh man Jeanne d’Arc! Worth owning a PSP just to play it. What I wouldn’t do to play that again.
Psp emulators run on pretty much any laptop or pc

PPSSPP is a fantastic emulator. I can’t recommend rom sites because I’m pretty sure they’re technically illegal, but if you were to look for them, I’m sure they’d be pretty easy to find and relatively low risk if you had a good adblocker and antivirus. I’m sure it’s possible, but I’ve never once gotten a virus from emulating. Just don’t install any .exe files except PPSSPP.

If you piss off Alistair by letting Loghain take the oath right at the end of the game he fucks off with all the gear he has equipped right before the last battle sequence and end boss.
What Imoen at the beginning? No chance for important gear after leaving the first dungeon. What other character do you loose?

Learn something new every day. In this case something I actually didn’t know about the game I’ve spent more time playing than any other. Even completed a solo hard core run. I thought I’d done it all. Cheers.
