pretty much the title, if Madrid isn’t in for him anymore, who could afford him?, and where could he be the most successful?

He has the potential to be one of the greatest but I don’t see that happening at psg, as he won’t really be taken seriously until he plays in an actually competitive league

I don’t see him playing for Man City, Madrid seems fed up with his transfer antics, so where to?

Only teams that can afford him are Real, Bayern(they won’t), Man City(I doubt), Man U(he won’t), PSG, or Saudi clubs(he already declined).

Liverpool or Chelsea could smash the wage packet I guess but it doesn’t make sense for them, nor would Mbappe be interested.

All signs point to Real, re signing with PSG, or taking that Saudi money.

It’ll never happen but you cannot say Mbappe is not interested in joining Liverpool. There is no star player in the world who would ever discard the idea of playing for Jurgen Klopp without at least considering it.

Of course LFC have a proper wage structure so there’s no way but Klopp and Mbappe would go together like a horse and carriage as they say

Even still. Saudi will dangle $5-10m a week in front of him. Would he even care about a CL for less than half or a quarter of that? Still going to start for France and they could get another WC or two before he’s done.

Spurs could afford him, but won’t spend - not that he would come to us. But then again he won’t go to United either and they got a mention.

Ahem…last years top 5 wage bills.

1 of these clubs has no debt, 1 of them has a ridiculous amount of debt, 1 is in France with a 60%+ net tax rate.

I’ll let you guess the other two.

        1. Paris Saint-Germain – €290,790,000
        2. Real Madrid – €282,650,000
        3. Bayern Munich – €255,820,000
        4. Manchester Utd – €236,221,435 (£206,796,000)
        5. Manchester City – €229,221,472 (£200,668,000)

No chance. Guimaraes seems to be our highest earner on 160k - mbappe would be like 5 times that

The only reason for him to leave Paris, his childhood birthplace and club loaded with money, would be to leave for an iconic club. This is why he declined a billion from Saudi club, it is why he will never go to Newcastle.

Newcastle is a dark horse candidate.

If interest in him dried up due to his demand, he would have very few choice. With Newcastle he gets to play in Europe with Saudi league wage premium.

And ‘new money’ clubs love to sign very high profile player as a statement. Similar to what Man City did with Robinho signing.

Being practically state owned they also have the mechanism to pay him big money while sidestepping FFP. An obvious one is being paid as the football ambassador for 2030 World Cup.

Yup. He will be sold to a Saudi team so he can be paid 800k a week and then Loaned to Newcastle with a 5% wage contribution. lol joke of a league.
