I wonder if it makes sense to buy a PS5 today. I never played one PS game so I’d need to play the previous ones in sequels. But is it worth buying a PS5 to play the most recent games in my case?

    Only if there are specific games that you want to play. If you have not played any of the PlayStation exclusives that have had PC ports then it’s probably a waste of money and will just sit there. Example - If you haven’t played Spiderman on PC and are thinking you will buy a PS5 to play Spiderman 2 - it probably wont happen.

    I have a 4090, i had a PS5 and sold it. Playing games on PS5 after playing games with a 4090 is a struggle.

    I also think people who buy PS5 to buy exclusives are stupid. Just don’t do it and they’ll be forced to drop games on PC day 1. Xbox already does it and it won’t be long before PlayStation follows.

    I bought an Xbox and a PS5 while having a 3090 and 12900KS and the consoles are just collecting dust. It’s nice being able to just sit on the couch and game but the one thing that keeps me coming back is the FPS. Playing at 30 or 60 fps seems sluggish after being on my PC.

      Yes, that’s also what’s keeping me thinking: FPS. I’ll never play a game on PS5 if I have it on my pc. How can I choose 60fps over 120?! But the exclusives though… Guess I gotta wait to play them?
