I find the monthly prices on Airbnb outrageous and also at Booking.com but to a lesser degree.

What is your strategy for finding better monthly deals?

Is there a service online where data on expected monthly rates is shared?

Perhaps there is a need for such a service to be created?

    This doesn’t work because usually there is a day or two already booked so you can’t get the month so no you are moving again
