Kyle Pitts has been a topic of discussion this season mainly for his lack of significant production compared to his draft overall, his rookie season, other TE’s in general, etc. So my question to you guys is what do you think Pitts will end up being on the Falcons: do you think he’s falling short due to Arthur’s Smith awful play calling and the generally terrible offense or could Pitts end up being a bust? Or do you think the truth is somewhere in the middle?

I can understand why some people are giving up on Pitts even though I highly disagree. It’s easy to be impatient when there was a lot of, to be honest, unfair expectations placed on him when he was drafted to such a shitty landing place… but I just don’t agree with them at all. Pitts has already proven himself capable his rookie year when he put up good season numbers with Ryan, who is the only good QB he’s had and even then Ryan wasn’t quite as good as he used to be.

People underestimate how terrible QB play can make everyone around them look shitty too. Combine that with the fact that Smith doesn’t know his head from his ass and never uses his guys, he doesn’t have much of a chance.
