Kyle Pitts has been a topic of discussion this season mainly for his lack of significant production compared to his draft overall, his rookie season, other TE’s in general, etc. So my question to you guys is what do you think Pitts will end up being on the Falcons: do you think he’s falling short due to Arthur’s Smith awful play calling and the generally terrible offense or could Pitts end up being a bust? Or do you think the truth is somewhere in the middle?

I don’t see why it can’t be both. The personnel responsible for drafting players know a hell of a lot more than me, so there’s probably several good reasons why it’s very rare to have a TE drafted that high.

But also, draft position has almost nothing to do with a player’s strengths not being highlighted by coaching decisions.
