Its been April since I came back.

I always had a good time there, culture, people, food, nature, short term friends and some dating

Here I have high rent, no long term friends, non existant dating, it makes me always think about booking a ticket back, including all my friends saying they will go

Anyone have a similiar feeling?

Yeah, I feel that way too sometimes. There’s always future return trips. For now, try to find what you appreciate about where you are. Be grateful for the time you had there and the time you get to have here. And hey, if it really sucks, just head back to where you were last happy.

Yes, about my 3 months in Mexico. It changed my life. I would live there if they had reliable Amazon prime 🤣

You can get a US forwarding address from mailboxes etc. You order to that address and mailboxes etc forward your packages to your local store. It takes an extra 4 days or so and the costs depend on weight.

I live on a sailboat and just spent 6 months in Cartagena, Colombia. It’s crazy, if you keep your Amazon order under $200 there is no tax/duty, and anything over $35 is shipping.

The problem is that you are not the only one that feels the same about Thailand, so they’ve become rather strict with immigration rules. It’s hard, to impossible to just roll up and live here anymore. You need to get a proper, long term visa.

Lived in Thailand since 2015 and love it.

You can always stay unlimited time in the Philippines. No visa runs, no hassle, no need to pay income tax.

    Thailand is much better though.

That’s what my wife and I do. Only problem is that traveling with a dog really restricts where we can go. I’d love to go to Iceland or Australia but I’m not dealing with the quarantine process!

Everything else is pretty great though. We’re on a one-year visa in France now. A good travel partner makes things better IMO.

        that sounds pretty lonely.

not to mention all the awkward meetup with cousins and friends who all have kids and you’re alone.

So your saying to have kids because ‘everyone else is’ and your not comfortable being alone with yourself and/or a partner?

Don’t give into the pressures of society.
