It’s worth acknowledging that Lemmy, as founded by a Communist and built on the principles of decentralization and federation, inherently appeals to leftists. To choose lemmy over Reddit is to reject the platform with mass adoption out of a sense of principle or genuine preference for structure.

As such, even what is considered “moderate” for Lemmy will be some form of Socialist.
