Huge kudos to Ross for setting this up. Since he pulls some weight around here we might see some strong adoption with a hopeful pp approval.
If you’re on Android grab sync for Lemmy. This 3rd party Reddit app dev was fucked by Reddit when Reddit started charging ridiculous amounts for API calls forcing 3rd party devs to abandon their apps, so Reddit could dominate with their own shitty app. He successfully ported his Reddit app to work with Lemmy and it feels exactly like Reddit.
Edit: there are a ton of 3rd party developers that got fucked as I’m realizing in the comments below. Go support one of them and let’s bring more and more PPs over.
I used Boost for Reddit before the API changes so I’m sticking with that. They’re both waaay better than the Reddit app though
Good call. Yes their official app feels like it’s from 2006 or some shit lol
I encourage y’all to try all the Android lemmy apps and see what works best for you, and to donate to your home instance if you can.
Sincerely,

Definitely. Just made an edit to my post.
I like Liftoff since I can use the same app on both mobile and desktop, it’s quite nice for familiarity.
I’m using Voyager. It’s exactly as the old Apollo on iOS and I love it.
Using Mlem on ios. Its good and I like the logo :P
