Is it any good? How is the stability?

I probably enjoy the new, reworked messages view (with the apps tucked away under a single ‘+’ icon) the most.

There are some bugs (like the screen freaking out for a second when clicking a messaging notification) but nothing too bad. Hopeful that the 2nd beta they just released today will fix some of those issues.

Many seem to be using it to get the airpod beta; not seen any updates on the phone beta itself tho

I’ve been enjoying it! I’ve only had to reboot once - but I think that was more related to low storage than anything else.

I’m on it. It’s pretty buggy, but nothing that’s made me want to roll back. My biggest and most annoying issue is the keyboard in Discord. If I want to upload a picture or open the emote/gif picker, I have to force close and restart the app, and then I can only do each of those things once before needing to restart the app again. Otherwise the button does nothing. Not sure if Discord needs to update to fix it or if it’s an issue on Apple’s side, but I’m hoping for a beta update soonish.

FWIW: I’ve updated all my devices to the beta: airpods pro 2, iphone 14 pro max, ipad (2019), Apple TV 4K, Macbook Air M1. Zero issues on anything else, just that keyboard issue on my phone.

I skipped the iOS 17 beta so far. First time in ages that I did. With all the new safety features lately, I prefer my main device to be stable over having the latest and greatest. Which is a huge change for me.

Same for me! I used to tinker around with my devices and enjoy betas, but having a stable environment has become very important for me. Especially, since banking apps - at least in my country - are very strict and won’t work on betas because they try to detect jailbroken devices.
