    yeah, you’ve got a point there, ER would just be the place to start.

    obviously if I had cancer, I’d know it - and likely, a history of cancer in the family, but I don’t have that problem, praise be to God.

      Nope. I had a friend who only found out he had testicular cancer because he thought he had a hernia. He didn’t have insurance either. He’s tens of thousands of dollars in crushing debt now… but it was that or die. Believe it or not, the ER didn’t treat it.

      And, again, good luck getting physical therapy after a serious accident without insurance. Or is your good health going to protect you from being slammed into by a car?

          Again, how is being healthy going to save you from being hit by a car? How is not having insurance going to get you the physical therapy and possibly hospitalization you’ll need?
