Hello all 1337 lemmies!
Just upgraded the server to 0.18.1. Took 45 seconds. There have only been a dozen or so applications for this server (all accepted), not sure how many of you are actually actively using it. If you are then congrats, you’re missing the performance issues that most of the large instances are having.
If you notice any issues with this upgrade feel free to comment. If you’d like to chat about anything 1337lemmy related go ahead and make threads and start some discussions.
On a side note, I’ve subscribed to a ton of the most popular communities so that a bunch of stuff shows up in the all feed for this instance. I’m trying to federate with as much as possible. Nothing I subscribe to is any political stance or choice, I randomly go on subscribing binges to try to bring more content into the all feed. If I ever unknowingly subscribe to some nazi shit or something stupid let me know and I’ll block whatever is needed.
I’ve recently noticed comments I make under this account don’t seem to show up on other Lemmy instances?
None of my comments have been replied to in a while, and when I search the posts while logged out, none of my comments appear.

I believe there are federation issues with 19.1 that should be fixed in the just released new version. I’ll upgrade today, should fix the issue. This affected every instance, not just 1337lemmy.
