I have three bedroom doors that I would like to put smart locks on to replace the current smart locks which are functional but not great.

What I currently have are smart locks that I purchased from Amazon. They are a Chinese brand named ‎Cilee that use an app by Trua to function. The locks work okay but there are a few annoyances

What I’m looking for:

  • Discrete user access for each lock.
With the current locks I have, anyone who is registered as a member of the household can unlock any of the locks in the house. I need to be able to have each door only accessible by specific people. I’ve gotten around this by creating one household for each lock but this is a PITA because I have to switch households in order to admin the different locks.
  • Access via Fingerprint/Code/Key/App or Code/Card/Key/App
My current locks are Fingerprint/Code/Key/App. The Fingerprint reader isn’t very smart, I’ve had to scan the same finger on the sensor in multiple positions and save them as different fingerprints in order for the lock to have a chance of reading my print. The keypad on the front isn’t very responsive and messes up regularly and the key is a non-standard shape and I haven’t been able to find any place that can copy them.

(Currently have a Yale Assure keypad deadbolt on the front door that I generally like.)

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Most “dumb” keypad locks will take multiple user codes. Is there a requirement for them to be IoT connected?
