A Detroit synagogue president was found fatally stabbed outside her home Saturday morning.

Samantha Woll, 40, led the congregation of Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue. The synagogue confirmed Woll’s death Saturday in a statement writing, “We are shocked and saddened to learn of the unexpected death of Samantha Woll, our Board President.”

“May her memory be a blessing,” the statement continued.

Authorities said a 911 call was made to Woll’s home early Saturday, reporting an individual lying on the ground unresponsive. Police discovered multiple stab wounds on Woll’s body and found a trail of blood leading to her house, where they believe the crime occurred.

An investigation is underway. At this time, the motive for the crime remains unknown.

Detroit also has a vibrant and storied Jewish community. Hell, the most prominent Prohibition-era gang in Detroit was a Jewish one.

Not to say all Muslims want to do violent things; but I believe the logic is that as a Jewish person, one should probably stay as far away from areas heavily populated by Muslim folks who may or may not have a couple brothers, cousins, and uncles who want to stone you to death or some other awful thing… As possible.

… You didn’t want to say that but you wanted to imply it, apparently – and to imply it so clearly that it’s difficult to imagine you intending anything else.

As opposed to the actual genocide in progress. Keep Detroit out of your fucking mouth you inbred. The people from both communities are fine, respectful and for the most part supportive of each other here. From Levin to Tlaib, we value our diversity and the large immigrant communities that have been a staple of the Tri-county Metro area. You’re trash.

People trying to start conflict when there isn’t any further information yet. This person gave her heart and soul for the city and I can promise you she would have wanted us to continue her progress, keep Detroit growing stronger together. The division that exists in the middle east is not here and I know the Jewish and Muslim communities don’t want it here either. Detroit will be a city of peace one day because of our diversity. We’ve already seen the devastation that prejudice creates.

Perfectly said comrade of the narrows. That’s Michigan real ones. We use our voices to lift up community rather than try to poison peoples minds with prejudice.

A mouth breather of a landlord who watched conservative social media decided to stab his tenants, a Muslim child and his mother, to death declaring “you muslims need to die” to the same family be built a tree house for last year. Poison spreads.

Coming to you straight from the Will Smith school of diplomacy. Are you going to walk up and slap him next and get banned from Lemmy?

Yikes, don’t quit your day job.

Imagine living and enjoying your city and the people in it quite a lot. Then try to imagine that every piece of national news you’ll ever see about it is because of cars or the selling of murder narratives. It gets old and doubly so when someone is trying to paint a portrait of a place and community they’ve never stepped foot in. I love this place and my Muslim and Jewish neighbors that live in it. If you don’t feel the same way for your community and your neighbors then I feel sad for you.

Keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth!

I thought it was it was pretty damned funny.

Also Detroit has a murder rate per 100k higher than Mexico. Let’s break it down Seattle: 7 Mexico: 25: Coatzacoalcos(really dangerous city in Mexico): 48 Detroit: 50. This is to say 1 person out of every 2000 presently living there will be murdered this year. Annualize that rate over 50 years of rolling the dice and its closer to 1 in 50.

Median Home Price in Detroit: $80k Median Home price in US $416k

Median Income Mexico: $14k PPP, Median Household income Detroit: $36k Median Household Income US: $75k

Detroit is like a little poor country somehow stranded in the middle of the US where poverty instead of walls keep you in.

Did you think I didn’t understand your joke and that’s why I thought it wasn’t funny? It’s just not a funny or original joke. We get that you thought it was funny, hence the gracious advice to not attempt a career in comedy.

What’s your endgame here where you turn into the statistician nobody wanted or asked for? You were unlikable before this and now its just crossing into lonely sad man territory. You pissing into the wind while you desperate wikifacts and USA Today articles isn’t improving anyone’s stock in your opinion. I’m glad you don’t like the city so many of us happily call home. Nobody asked you and nobody cares.

100,000 chanted it at a rally in London last week, not because they’re calling for a Israeli genocide, but because they support Palestinian human rights. Hate speech is against the law here, yet no one was arrested for doing so.

Tbf our racist scumbag of a Home Secretary thinks it’s “widely understood to be antisemitic”. But she really is a terrible human so I don’t count her opinion for much.
