He’s 38
When was the last time a player got sent off against Liverpool?
How come the commentators saying that’s harsh ?
Clear yellow all day long. He prevented Diaz from crossing into the box by fouling him and that too while on a yellow.
How will Liverpool go 1-0 down now?
Foul but not sure if it warranted a card
Exactly, not a dangerous tackle and not a tactical foul so I’m not seeing yellow but idk
It doesn’t have to be dangerous to be a a yellow. Sliding tackles where you get nowhere near the ball are regularly yellow cards, especially when they prevent the opposition player get into the area like this one. It’s an incredibly obvious yellow card and I’m genuinely baffled people are arguing otherwise.
Then why wasn’t Kovacic sent off against arsenal? Plenty of sliding challenges don’t get near the ball and aren’t yellows
He should have been. That doesn’t make this decision wrong.
How is it not a tactical foul lmao, are you saying there’s no chance on for Liverpool if Young doesn’t wipe him out?
He also didn’t get a yellow a few minutes earlier for kicking the ball away.
We’ve finally got a 2nd yellow for the other team
What are you thinking man? Basically begging for a second yellow
Never change Ashley
Liverpool fans raging they won’t have anything to talk about for 10 days now.
What an absolute idiot. He’s really let Dyche down
That’s it, spectacle ruined
/s
Old habits die hard
Imagine protesting that
Why are they saying its not a Red? its clearly a red.
He was playing too carelessly since he got the 1st yellow, zero awareness from him. So stupid and unnecessary.
His been carrying that whole backline in the first half before getting sent off
The second Diaz stood his chest up you could tell Ashley would bite just about anything he gave him lmao
Diaz done him there, pretty smart really
