I get how to view the community in my instance by searching !community@other-instance.url, but then I have to find the specific post again.
there’s an open issue which i think is talking about this, but i’m wondering what people have come up with for now. seems like a great browser extension opportunity (Lemmy Link only opens the community).

You can copy and paste links to a post on other instances in the search bar to find them on your instance.
