I honestly much prefer the idea of a chronological feed too, but disagree that’s what kills a platform. Tumblr has both the chronological and the trending for you/for all, and it was also ignored.
I’m definitely in the “all choices” camp when it comes to sorting methods, and I’m DEFINITELY in the “keep your fucking algorithms” camp (beyond the extremely basic like hot/trending being based on activity and upvotes).
