I’m afraid the only thing these two films have in common is that they’re both French productions. In French, “trou” means “hole” while “Troglodiste” means “troglodyte.” La Trou is a superb crime drama while Delicatessen is deranged science-fiction.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I have a list of movies for introducing them to my son. Delicatessen is nearly on top of it. (He loved it, btw.)
