Or they’ll double down and say it’s the colleges that are wrong, drop out, wonder why they can’t achieve their goals, blame the “other” (it’s currently immigrants and trans people), and repeat the cycle of hate.
Or changing their major from biology, where you’re expected to understand evolution, to something like French Medieval Literature.
Like it’s not already difficult enough to adjust to living on your own when you first move. This makes it much more difficult I’d imagine.

I remember charters being a policy debate topic in like 2014 and the problems were there, 47% of right wing charters opening since 2017 is an eye opening stat.
