Looks like we would have to delete this community, then let the bot re-create it if the posts are to come from Reddit>Lemmy (without mucking about with Lemmit’s guts).

Your usernames wouldn’t change, just would need to re-join this vaporents here once it was recreated by the Bot.
Oh, duh it should be easy enough to add something to whatever variable it’s using to store the subreddit name before it goes to post here/into the lemmy database… hmmm maybe a parallel community? that’d be lame if it was read only though.
I think the community isn’t so entrenched we can’t do a reboot. Especially if it increases the allure /decreases barrier of entry to the existing Reddit userbase.
Especially in the context of the other fundamental possible changes i.e. domain name
Agreeed. I’ll nuke it in a sec, then add it to the bot. Comment on something it pulls in and i’ll mark you as admin again
