    Honestly, it’s a good thing.

    When people try things like this, it helps that they’re stupid and easy to point to.

    It allows the devs to see and fix problems as they’re exploited. I can see an easy “fix” being implementing a character limit on community names.

    Just to be clear, this is a basement dweller’s temper tantrum. You can smell the cheeto dust, mountain dew, and impotent rage through the screen.

      I like how this is supposed to be a “fuck it up” action instead of just a very minor inconvenience as well. If you want to fuck it up, do like a DDoS at least if you don’t have the technical knowledge to find exploits.

    It’s a public platform, attacks, whether by white hat hackers or those with ill intend, are to be expected.

    It should be double checked whether this can cause a buffer overflow, otherwise it’s just a little annoying.

    Edit: Okay, quite annoying, fair enough.

      Abusing the system to flood the “trending communities” with pure bullshit is a bit more than a “little” annoying.
