What was the defense here? This seems like a clear violation of the right to vote for U.S. citizens who are unable to read English.
They don’t need plausible deniability anymore, they are open about it.
not even cant read, but prefer another language. i have coworkers whove been with the company 15+ years, to say nothing of in the country, and still prefer their native language and have trouble with english sometimes. they shouldnt be denied the right to vote because of that.
Not to mention that the US explicitly has no official language. English is not special from a legal standpoint, despite being the majority language.
