The answer is there is no right away. Eat the whole thing or start at the white end or start at the yellow end.

    I eat it one color at a time, starting with the narrow white end. Sometimes I nibble at it until the entirety of a single color is gone before moving on to the next.

    I used to eat them whole as a kid, but I’d get sick of them after maybe a fistful or two. Slowly nibbling on them not only paces me and prevents me from eating a ton all at once, but it allows me to appreciate their texture and flavor without overwhelming me quickly.
