I came to the comments for that question as well. Defeats the entire purpose of the system. Maybe so someone else can manage their one stock?
I don’t really get what they’re for either, the only hypothesis I’ve heard that makes any sense is that ETF mechanisms have useful loopholes in certain short selling strategies.
