It’s a decent introduction for those migrating from Reddit; although it would’ve been helpful to showcase more of the registration process, such as creating an account, searching for and subscribing to communities, and navigating ones feed in general. Still, it’s hard not to appreciate the optimistic exposure. Hopefully moderation tooling and content archives will improve as the software and communities supporting the Fediverse grow and mature.

Looks like the video has >1K comments already. Unless yours gets pinned by the creator, YouTube just buries newer comments into its unholy algorithmic heap.
