Hello, Make Way for the Pentapods! Last week (FFF-424) we announced two entirely new enemies coming to Factorio: Space Age: Stompers and Strafers. This week, we're going to take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of some of the features, systems, and optimizations that brought these adorable monsters to life. We'll also talk about the techniques we used to prepare last week's announcement. We've got a lot of ground to cover, so let's dive right in.

    I was planning on making a new mega factory when the expansion comes out with a goal of getting it to where my UPS drops significantly. Each fff they drop makes such a factory that much bigger

    Besides, it’s about time I check on my Vulcanus factory. I’ve been getting a bunch of alerts from there, so I sure hope nothing is disrupting my foundries…

    Did that mean we will see Vulcanus enemies next FFF?

      Maybe not next fff, but he is definitely hinting that there are enemies there aswell.

      I hope I could be some lava monsters that come up from where you’re harvesting lava from
