Firefox does sponsored links now?

    Unfortunately it’s been like this for some time. Every new install I’ll see some sponsored pins like Amazon, Ebay, Yahoo, etc

      I don’t mind too much, since, I guess, it pays the bills and it isn’t too obtrusive.

    It’s been in there for quite a while. Go to the home tab settings and turn it off.

    try a more privacy-focused browser like librewolf. If you disable rfp, it’s effoctively unmozillaed firefox

      I’m not unhappy with Firefox, but Librewolf is on my list in case that ever changes. I mean, I used to be happy with Chrome… or Google in general…
